This square shopping bag is made from raffia. Natural material extracted from palm tree sheets, the raffia is cut, dried in the sun, softened ans sometimes cooked under ash. Cut in fine strips with a small knife, the long strands are then weaved. This ancestral method is done by hand at the weaver's house.
